i fuking hate this to long no bf2 D=
Delete all traces of BF2 from your PC, including registry entries. Then restart and try installing it again.
Also, run Windows Update, because I think that error is to do with the installer program that the game uses.

It might have a similar error code, but I don't think it's a memory issue.
If you can't work out how to get rid of BF2 from your registry then ask, I can direct you to a program which will do it for you. (With a little help from a program crack)

Because it partially installed the program. The chances are that it left some loose ends in the registry. It's best to clean them out before trying again.
Does it always get to the same point when installing? Try it on a different PC, might be a scratch on the disc.

But he havent never even tried to install it to it, idk dont care to check ffs, nwm or nvm FFS!
