If I were you, I would spend a little more money on the proccessor and get a Core 2 Duo processor, because all the pentium D's are getting dated really quickly.

Well when i get money from somewhere then i guess i spend something around 2000 euros to computer, which i will build myself...
But your "budjet" is little low, maybe i dont know, but yeah good processor you need and ram has to be fast (over 667mhz)

256Mb nVidia GeForce 8600 GT PCI-Express VGA Card - £73.97  ---  Wow, that's good value.

DVD drive? Might as well get a DVD-RW. Any make will do, personally I use Sony -- just because.

Power Supply? Any decent one. Would be cheaper to get a case that comes with one. If not then 400W should do.

Good value, yeah!

yes dvd rw definitely

Power suply i dont know about these, can it be too much? I mean if it would "give" too much powers would it damage other parts, or just eat energy and make noise... Less would have just all kind of problems, you know...

Jesus, don't get me started on what's wrong with that build...
1.) Don't get the 8600 - go for the 8800 GT for a bit more (it's good value coz it's shit!)
2.) Get a core 2 duo 6420 chip for about another £20
3.) Don't bother with 4 gig of ram - just get 2 gig of ram with low CAS timings
4.) Power supply of minimum 500W
5.) Maybe no need to spend so much on a motherboard - can get a good one for bout £130

Just xfire me sometime and i'll do u a proper build up!:D

That all sounds great to me. For example you can save money on RAM and have very little down sides and spend a litle more money on you procesor and graphics card and have a lot of benefit. Core 2 duo is a MUST for new PC's. You will regret it in a years time if you do not get it i think. As more and more programs and games will be taking full use of it.

8800? a few quid more? Here and here
4GB ram, because it was so fucking cheap. (and yes, I am going to get 2GB anyway)
Power supply has to be in line with how much power your Video card needs, so that is variable.
and I was told today by a computer technician not to buy a Case w/ power supply included.
Yeah, the guy also said Core 2 Duos are FTFWB so, yeah, cheers.

He said he would help me out when I get the moneyz. So, I dont need u guys anymore! tongue
lol. thanks, for... erm, trying tho...

Why not? A decent case will come with a decent PSU. Granted, it may not be what you need. But there's nothing wrong with them.

One thing you haven't thought about maybe - if ur sticking with the original motherboard u mentioned, i would hazard a guess that u may be thinking of going for SLI one day therefore needing a lot more power - since it doesn't make any difference if you have too much power, it's better to get a bigger one to start with to save a lot of fucking around replacing it!
