Yeah, i was kinda in two minds about getting a 5870 or a gtx 295, for future proofs. lol btw floppy told me the samsung f1 is a leet hdd, so i owe him :D

EDIT: also, i was planning on saving up and getting a CPU fan as well as possibly getting another 5870 for crossfire (if i get one, that is)

EDIT EDIT: turns out that ati cards work best with intel CPUs, what a strange world!

It's certainly not a bad build but a couple of comments methinks!

*The scout is a brilliant case - the same as i got a month ago but with the PSU mounted at the bottom of the case the wiring can get more than a little annoying. Also i recommend getting another case fan to put on the side paneland let me know if the wiring for the case fans and LED's gets confusing like it did for me!
*Corsair are ok for PSU's but i'd go for an OCZ one - much more stable and also can be a bit cheaper
*The corsair domininator RAM is good but once again i'd go for OCZ gold or platinum editions!
*Not getting a different CPU fan? (Coz of the fan set-up for the case mount whatever CPU cooler you get with the fan pointing downwards NOT the usual way of pointing it towards the RAM-this improves cooling by about 50%)
*Whether by luck or design you picked out the right TB samsung HD - the F2 has a couple of issues (once again the same as i got!)
*Perfect CPU
*Fine MoBo

And now for the biggy - are you really going to spend nearly £400 on a good graphics card that you'll barely be able to fit in the case and that'll be out of date a fortnight later when they bring out DX11? I get the feeling you're going for a rig that will last for some time and you can play games at monster resolutions, but what i'd think about doing would be to either use the graphics card you currently have if it's possible or to just get a cheap'ish random card like the 4770 like this Scan's 4770 or the GT260 if you're a freak and prefer Nvidia :D The new DX11 cards are on their way out now so it could be by the 15th I'll know more - i'll keep you tabbed!

All-in-all a good computer :D
