Topic: My Keyboard Fails

Hi guys
Just wondering if you could help me with a small problem.
Some keys in a certain area of my laptop's keyboard have stopped responding to a light touch. Namely:

'y, h, m, n, u, j, h'
It's happened before, but resolved itself (somehow) within a month... But I cba to play my games by putting an immense amount of pressure on my keys..

Do you change the controld on games to use these keys rather than wasd? If so, it is most likely because they are worn from heavy use. If not then I don't know.

My laptop W, Q keys doesnt respond correctly without using special way of pressing em.
And that is because of more than 1200h of battlefield on it smile
Sometimes they did work normally, but now its permanent sad

It is most likely to be down to dirt on the contacts of the keyboard so take the the keyboard apart and clean the contacts of the keyboard and it should work fine.

Buying a new keyboard for a laptop kind of defeats it's object....

ow is it a laptop?

if its laptop it is very likely to be crumbs/ dirt messing with the contacts

or

the contact sheet shifting slightly.

if you are going to clean the the contacts be careful when remocing the keys because they have little hinged bracket  and if you break this then your fucked and the key will never work again... well unless you buy more hinged brackets but they are very specific to the model of the laptop chassis.
