You'd need one heck of a power supply and good cooling too and a big case but would be nice if you could afford it.

No point in it at all! All it's going to do is make the available video memory bigger, whilst the bad side of things is a major increase in power and heat given out giving a nice new way of burning your money for you! I remember Nvidia trying something similar with the 7900 where they had a quad-sli config which was all fair and well but it didn't perform as well as just 2 of the cards in sli! You could have 8 gig of video memory on 16 cards in sli if you really want it but it's not going to speed the computer or the graphics up as much as having 2 normal cards would!

Whats the point anyways. the human eye can only see 40fps and most monitors can only display 75fps. Seems like a money making gag for the manufacturers.
