Always wanted to do 1.5km sniper shootouts in BF2? Well now you can, with this brand new sniper mod.

Features:

- One map: wake. The mod is only ~30MB atm, but including all large maps would increase file size to 250MB.

- The map is changed so that only jeeps and transport choppers spawn. Also initial flag layout is different.

- Two classes:
     Snipers (armed with knife+pistol+sniper rifle)
     Spotters (armed with knife+pistol+assault rifle+grenades+ammo+binoculars)

- New scoring system, you'll get 1 point per 100m for each kill, and spotters in your squad get half that.

- Fog/draw distance upped to 1500m (including attack orders/flag icons).

- Sniper rifle range extended to 3000m.

- Sniper rifle accuracy/zoom increased (all rifles have a unique combination of zoom/accuracy).

- Sniper rifles now fire tracers to help learn bullet drop at these extreme distances.

- Different firing sounds for almost all available guns.

- Firing sounds are audible from further away, up to 700-800m atm.

- Kills made with a sniper rifle will display the exact range to target. Also whether it was a sniper or spotter.

- Last but not least: the M82A1. A semi-automatic .50 cal anti-material sniper rifle. Model included in BF2.
